Starting from April 24, 2018, SIPO optimizes China patent certificate and the duplicate thereof by removing the patent offprints.

For patents granted on or after March 2, 2018 and before April 24, 2018, the patent certificates include the first page of the certificate and the title page of the offprint.For patents granted after April 24, 2018, the patent certificates and the duplicates thereof no longer include patent offprints, but the granting publication numbers and the patentee addresses will be added. The old version certificates have the same legal effect as the new version certificates. Those already issued in old version will not be replaced with the new version, unless otherwise stated.

From the date of the granting publication, patentees as well as the public can search and obtain the granted patent offprints from SIPO’s official online publication system (http://epub.sipo.gov.cn). (Source: SIPO website)
